TheGospel Pimps are the Alter Ego of Germany’s well Known and Respected THE JUKE JOINT PIMPS, astead of focusing themselves to the Rawside ofChicago’s Rhythm n Blues are from the late 40’s early 50’s the Gospel Pimps gotinspired by the RAW POWER of Early Black Louisiana Gospel Singing Groups, they Even Invited a Gospel Choir into the Studio to Record Some of thesongs.. the Band got inspired as well trough the Peacockand the SAVOY catalogue bands such as THESTAPLE SINGERS , FIVE BLIND BOYS OF ALABAMA or even the ‘early’ GOLDEN GATE QUARTET are big influence in their recordings … we are happy to produce theirfirst 7” Vinyl Single on Voodoo Rhythm Records
