From 1969 to 1972 there were launches by NASA to go to the Moon. From Apollo 11 to Apollo 17 there have been 7 launches to the Moon and 6 landed Men. Twelve Astronauts have been on the Moon. Apollo 13 had an accident in space on the way to the Moon and had to figure a way to get around the Moon and slingshot their way home. Apollo 18, 19, and 20 missions were scrubbed.
